JOHNNY CASH. Vintage 8x10 glossy black and white Sun Records publicity portrait, circa 1957, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint ink, "To Jay & Joyce/Best of luck/Johnny Cash." Fine condition, with faint handlng bends and dings in the background, and uneven ink flow, resulting in the dropping of the final letter of his name, although the impression made by the tip of the pen is visible when the photograph is angled into the light. A third-party authenticator's sticker has been affixed in the bottom right corner, which can likely be removed with a bit of effort. Extremely scarce this early.
