JACK CASSIDY. Vintage 8x10 glossy black and white bust portrait, boldly inscribed in black marker, "To/Jean/Best wishes/Jack Cassidy." Fine condition, with scattered handling bends and a light crease in the lower left corner, intersecting the first letter of his signature. Four-time Tony nominee (and winner for his performance in the 1963 musical, She Loves Me), Jack Cassidy also made numerous guest appearances on television and performed in a handful of films, portraying John Barrymore in W.C. Fields and Me (1976). With wife Shirley Jones, he was the father of David, Shaun, Ryan and Patrick Cassidy, all of whom he disinherited in his will. He died in a fire, ignited by his own cigarette, at age 49.
