IAN HUNTER. Vintage 6x8 matte finish sepia tone bust portrait, boldly signed in black fountain pen and dated 1928 in his hand. Very fine condition, with a portion of his signature penned against the dark fabric of his jacket, but quite readable. The smooth, dependable leading man enjoyed a successful career in both Britain and Hollywood, where he had the misfortune of appearing in many bad Kay Francis movies -- a dirty job, but of course somebody had to do it!
