George Raft
GEORGE RAFT. Slick-looking 8x10 glossy black and white 1930s chest-up portrait, boldly signed in later years in black felt tip ink, "Best/George Raft." Near very fine condition, with a mild bend to the bottom right corner tip, not touching the image. Among other attributes, George Raft was noted for his peculiar taste in film scripts, turning down projects such as The Maltese Falcon while jumping at the chance to appear in such immortal classics as Bolero (1934) and The Lady's from Kentucky (1938).
