GEORGE ARLISS. Vintage 8x10 matte finish silver tone three-quarter length portrait, boldly signed in black fountain pen. A few very small creases to the borders; otherwise very fine condition. The Oscar-winning actor was considered (by himself) to be without peer among thespians. He portrayed Disraeli and Voltaire, a rajah, a hobo, and everything in between, each with unflagging zest, all the time, though, beneath the makeup, seeming to be very much George Arliss.
