DONALD COOK. Vintage 8x10 glossy black and white chest-up portrait, circa 1936, boldly inscribed in black fountain pen, "To Joe/Sincerely/Donald Cook." Near very fine condition, with very mild edge wear and a few light surface dings. The stolid veteran of screen and stage played both leading and supporting roles in Hollywood throughout the 1930s and '40s, appearing in such films as The Public Enemy (1931), Baby Face (1933), and Show Boat (1936).
