Lovely 10.25 x 13 matte finish black and white bust glamour portrait, a reproduction of an original 1920s image, boldly signed in later years in black fountain pen, "Sincerely/Dolores Costello." Fine condition, with slight trimming from its original 11x14 size; a very slightly grainy image; and light bends to three corners, not substantially detracting from overall appearance. The one-time wife of John Barrymore, a popular leading lady of the silent screen, appeared sporadically in sound films until 1943, including Little Lord Fauntleroy (1936) and The Magnificent Ambersons (1942). Authentically signed photographs are relatively uncommon.
