CHESTER CONKLIN. Glossy 8x10 black and white half-length portrait, boldly inscribed in black fountain pen, "To/my good friend/Bill Stein/Just for fun/Chester Conklin." Fine condition, with light edge waviness, mild handling bends, and apparent trimming to the right edge, although the photograph still measures a full 8x10. Likely signed later in life. An exceptionally scarce signed image of Conklin, one of the original Keystone Cops, in a pose that virtually epitomizes early silent slapstick comedy.
