Vintage 11x14 matte finish sepia tone three-quarter length portrait of the lively silent screen comic in an uncharacteristically somber pose, boldly inscribed in black fountain pen, "To 'Chris'/With/Every/Good Wish/From/Charley Chase/1927." Good condition, with two substantial tears and a smaller one along the left side of the image, and several heavy creases along the lower half of the right edge, noticeably detracting from overall appearance. Scarce, but priced to reflect the condition.
