CHARLES COBURN. Vintage 1940s 5x7 matte finish silver tone bust portrait of the prolific character actor, wearing his ubiquitous monocle, boldly inscribed in green fountain pen, "To - Paula -Good luck/Charles Coburn." Fine condition, with a very mild bend in the bottom left corner that passes through his tuxedo jacket but is essentially invisible when the image is viewed head on. Entering films at age 60, Charles Coburn won an Oscar for his performance in The More the Merrier (1943), and was also seen in such memorable films as The Lady Eve, The Devil and Miss Jones (both 1941), and Kings Row (1942).
