Buck Jones
BUCK JONES. Scarce vintage 7x9 matte finish silver tone half-length portrait, circa 1925, inscribed in black fountain pen, "To Oldolph McGuinn/Best of Luck/Buck Jones." Fine condition, with neatly trimmed borders and the ink somewhat faded, but entirely readable. Buck Jones rose from bit Hollywood player to become one of the most popular B Western stars of the 1920s and '30s. He died in a hotel fire in November 1942, having already completed six films that year alone.
