BRODERICK CRAWFORD. Vintage 8x10 matte finish sepia tone chest-up portrait, circa 1940, inscribed in black fountain pen, "To Ruth/Best wishes/from/Broderick Crawford." Two small spots of emulsification on his left cheek; otherwise very fine condition. The writing, despite being penned against the dark fabric of his jacket, is quite readable, although difficult to discern in the accompanying scan.
