JOAN BLONDELL and DICK POWELL. Vintage 8x10 matte finish sepia tone bust portrait, circa 1938, of the temporarily happy couple, inscribed in blue fountain pen, "For T.H. Baker/With all good wishes/Joan Blondell," and additionally signed by Dick Powell. Fine condition, with a faint horizontal bend running the width of the image about three quarters of an inch from the top, and barely detectable when the photograph is viewed head on. Although Blondell has signed against the dark fabric of Powell's jacket, both signature and inscription are clearly readable on the actual photograph, although difficult to see in the scan.
