BING CROSBY. Appealing vintage 8x10 matte finish sepia tone half-length portrait of the young crooner, circa 1932, inscribed in black fountain pen, "To my dear friend/Lilly/Sincerely/Bing Crosby." Fine condition, with the writing slightly faded, and the letters "cerely" quite difficult to see. In general, however, the strength of the ink is quite acceptable, easily readable against the light background, and rather stronger on the actual photograph than it appears in the accompanying scan.
