JULES MASSENET. Vintage 3x5 sepia tone half-length portrait of the composer, signed "Massenet" and dated 1912 in his hand. In the upper left-hand corner he has added a generous two-stanza AMQS from his most cherished work, Manon, which he identifies in his hand. Fine condition, with scattered faint silvering, two minuscule breaks in the emulsion, and portions of the writing a shade light.
