ANTONIO SCOTTI. Mammoth vintage 11x15 matte finish silver tone portrait of the supreme Golden Age baritone as a fierce-looking Scarpia, boldly signed and inscribed in white fountain pen ink, "To Hon./Murray Hulbert/with grateful remembrance/and sincerity/A. Scotti/N.Y. First Jan. 1924." Near fine condition, with creasing to three corner tips; a slightly ragged patch at the edge of the bottom border; and a lengthy diagonal bend at the top right, confined to the border area and not affecting the image. The apparent creases/dimpling seen in the left and right borders in the accompanying scan are purely a scanning glitch and are not present in the actual photograph.
