THEODORE ROOSEVELT. Distinguished cabinet portrait by C.M. Bell, about 4x6.5, on an embossed mount, about 6x8, boldly inscribed to the lower border in black fountain pen, "To the/Hon. T. M. John Gaffney/with the good wishes of/Theodore Roosevelt/Nov 6th 1905." A small abrasion to the mount near the lower left corner, and the signature and date just a shade lighter than the inscription, although entirely readable; otherwise very fine condition.
